After you're done using the disposal, put half a lemon inside, turn the water on, and then turn the disposal on for few seconds.
Garbage Disposal Cleaner 2: Take a spray bottle to fill in half with water and half with vinegar. Add 4 tablespoons of lemon juice with 10 - 15 drops of tea tree oil in it. Close the bottle and shake it to mix in the contents properly. You can also use lavender or citrus oil for this cleaner. Spray inside the garbage disposal after each use. Garbage Disposal Cleaner 5: Gather 1 cup white vinegar, 1 gallon of boiling water, half used lemon (no juice), and half cup baking soda. Put baking soda in the disposal and then pour in the white vinegar. Let the ingredients mix in together and turn into foam. After few minutes of letting it set properly, flush the disposal with 1 gallon of boiling water. Now add half a piece of used lemon inside and turn the disposal on till the lemon turns into shred.
